“We really enjoyed our stay, stumbled across the place whilst searching for a local area to stay. Rooms were beautiful, shower was amazing, food delicious, good selection of drinks. Breakfast was cooked to our liking. The only downside was not enough plug sockets in the room to charge phones/tablets etc but this was a minor thing. We loved the place and are looking to go again. ”

“We would love to stay again, really enjoyed it. Room was comfortable, dinner & breakfast both relaxed and beautifully cooked. Dog freindly, so was great for us. The space is understandibly put aside mostly for diners with tables set up, but the bar area could really do with being larger and more comfy seating. Posh, obnoxious kids took over in the bar which was annoying, but that is not the establishments fault.”

“Lovely village pub/restaurant. Great service from front of house manager. Young man, very friendly and welcoming. Lovely evening meal, fair prices, fresh vegetables. Room clean, warm and cosy. Good shower and bathroom facilities. Outside, Iron stairs to room so just be aware. We would definitely stay again. ”

“It was a nice stay. I had a long term stay that was over 30 days. I had the double room, and i felt like it was cramped due to the ceilings. I had to constantly be stooping over or craining my neck in the room. I wouldn't rebook this room for a stay longer than a week. The owner was great and very nice.”

“This is the second time I've been with my other half and it was just as enjoyable as the first. The customer service is beyond reproach and there's a friendliness to the staff that is much appreciated. The Cementing meal that I had was wonderful. I had pigeon breast followed by halibut and then cheese board. Also had a nice bottle of Charlie's a glad of port. I'm hoping to make this an annual trip”

“We stayed here for two nights. The accommodation was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. Jude and Karl were both welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.”

“Wir waren zu dritt zu einem Konzert angereist, das in unmittelbarer Nähe stattfand. Man befindet sich mitten im Zentrum. Bahnhof zu Fuß = 20 Min. Als ich mich fragte, ob es im Hotel Handtücher gäbe (ja!), stieß ich im Netz auf Beurteilungen, die "ungenügend" waren, also eine glatte sechs. Kritik: Kein Frühstück und viel zu laut. Ja, es gab auch für uns kein Frühstück, was wir aber ohnehin dort nicht eingeplant hatten. Es gibt unzählige Cafés (u.a. auch Starbucks) in der Nachbarschaft,...

“Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. ”

“Great room, small but very quirky and lots of extra touches such as bottled water, fresh milk and KitKats! Just had to remember to duck through door frames. Good sized bathroom and shower plus walk-in wardrobe provided plenty of storage. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Didn’t sample rest of pub food as only stayed one night but the list of desserts was impressive. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.”

“Everything was perfect.. I can’t think of anyway this could be improved. Great location, apartments were immaculate and really lovely decorated. Everything really well thought of. Can’t wait to return sometime soon. The most important things were that it was great for our children and our dog!! We spent our first evening at a local pub then walked home with a takeaway, next day at the market and shopped around the village. Cooked some amazing steaks from the butchers. Then the following two days...

“This is a lovely Aparthotel in a great location in Cambridge. Only downside is the noise from the road. I advise guests to bring earplugs or even better, supplied by the hotel. Some noise also from banging doors in the corridor. A coffeemaker is provided in the room, but only with 2 capsules and no fresh milk available.”
