“We had a really lovely stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was huge and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was also amazing, with a huge spread and the ability to order a hot breakfast too. ”

“Lovely and helpful staff. Excellent food. Not sure the room upgrade was worth the money. Although bigger than other rooms the bathroom and fittings are pretty standard. Lovely hotel with a nice garden and lounge areas. Would book again. ”

“Well positioned hotel, as a 15 min walk to gunwarf quays. Pool and steam an added bonus. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. The hotel kindly gave us a permit to park the car on the road as the car park was full at times. Room clean and comfortable bed. Very warm amd aircon not working. It was late when we returned to the room so I didnt wish to change rooms as offered. Was given a fan quickly. ”

“Loved the facilities, the pool, jacuzzi & steam room. I deducted one star was because the pool was shut for one of the days i stayed & the lodge is totally cashless, though the staff were very understanding that i only had cash on the first day & waited to take the room deposit. Friendly & helpful staff, with a lovely housekeeper who was especially generous with the biscuits & hot chocolate! Would definitely stay again.”
