“Loved the hotel, welcomed by very personable and kind doormen who were so friendly and attentive throughout our whole stay. The room was lovely and very spacious! Pool was busy but still nice! The location was also great, which a short walk over the river into the centre of York and the hotel was a perfect get away from the busy streets after a day walking around. “Warm welcome and offers of help with the luggage Smooth quick and friendly check in and shown to our room. Nice touch! Room was spacious clean and had everything we needed. Bed was a little on the soft side for my liking (but that is just my preference). Staff are helpful and lots of patience, nothing was too much trouble You get what you pay for imo My only issue is that we couldn’t get into the dining room on either night we stayed as it was full. “all you need is at the hotels and grounds.”

“This hotel used to be my favorite, but now this hotel has become.a bit of disappointment. The room had a very small window and the staff failed to clean the room as requested. When we asked for still water, sparkling water was delivered twice. The turn down service was provided quiet late around 9 PM which made our sleep inconvinient. Overall this beautiful hotel is not what it used to be. Not sure if we will go back.for the price we paid.”

“위치는 아주 좋아요 근데 방에서 꿉꿉한 냄새가 나서 컴플레인을 했더니 스프레이를 주면서 뿌려보라며.. 이게 냄새가 호불호가 있을수 있다했는데 방에서 나는 냄새는 그런 향이아니라 전반적으로 나는 꿉꿉한 냄새여서 없어지지 않았고 에어컨에서 냄새가 나는거 같아 그것도 끄고 생활했습니다 외관은 화려하나 실내는 좀 별루고 호텔앞 택시에서 짐을 내려도 거들떠도 안보는 그런 무례한 행동에 다음번엔 절대 가지 않을꺼에요”

“We were happy from the beginning until the end! We felt very welcome and were very happy throughout our stay. Our little ones were sad that they couldn’t go to the pool but they really enjoyed the room. The suite was perfect for my parents, our kids, my husband and I to share. ”
