“It's Land's End - can you get a more beautiful location? Only stayed one night - family room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Let down was breakfast, most of the food was cold. Would have been 5 stars if the breakfast was up to scratch. Staff were all friendly and my son enjoyed the free entry to the attractions. Great for the coast path. ”

“I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely bed and breakfast! It had all the amenities I needed, and everything was clean, cozy, and welcoming. It's also dog friendly, which made the trip even better since I could bring my pup along. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the coast, so I could easily start my walks right from the B&B, or catch a nearby bus to other parts of the coastal trail. Such a relaxing and convenient place to stay—highly recommend!”

“The check in process was a little strange, one person on the phone quite a bit in a room off to the side, who knew you were supposed to go in there? He had two other people in there so we had to wait about 15 minutes. Then we went in and it was all of 30 seconds, here's your key, go up the stairs, see you later! No information given. One day we asked about the buses and how to take them (we are from Canada) and the girl at the desk said she had no idea, she never took the bus. End of that...

“A really warm friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. That feeling of a traditional bed and breakfast from childhood. Two minutes from the high st , five minutes from the railway station and the bus station. Ideally placed for visiting more of Cornwall be it by rail or bus.”

“We were able to check in early which was a nice touch, as were the complementary drinks and snacks. We ate outside in the afternoon and the burger was delicious. The bed was a bit on the soft side for my liking but I had a wonderful night’s sleep. Breakfast was lovely, but it is cooked to order so factor that into your timing. All in all a wonderful stay, will definitely be back”

“I used The Dolphin Tavern for 1 night with my wife. The location is walking distance from Penzance Station(about 10 minutes.) However, my Google Maps App had problem with the location so it took more than that. The room was great. It might be inconvenient for some people as it does not have any elevators but it seems like only 2 floor building. So, unless you have a large luggage, it won't be a problem. However, due to the Tavern's history the water facility was quite noisy. When I flushed...

“The hosts were amazing! They offered ideas on where to tour the area (great advice) and places to eat. We felt at home and we loved the location. The bed was very very comfortable and I slept so well.”
