"Where to start!! Stay at the Silky Oaks Lodge was truly a dream come true. The staff is amazing and made us feel so welcomed and special from the moment we arrived. Our room was perfect - very clean and the mini bar was stocked with everything you could need. Our view was in the middle of the rainforest with river views and total privacy. We enjoyed time on the patio together and the bathtub was heavenly. Every meal was delicious. Such a dream!!! "

"Great to experience a night in the rainforest although not for the faint hearted! The sounds at night were a bit scary if you’re not used to it and a large branch or something fell onto our cabin and scared the life out of me! The heavy rain kept me awake most of the night as was very loud! I could not relax for fear of a tree falling but that’s just my anxiety as I’m sure it was quite safe! "Such an amazing resort for a great price! The restraunt food & drinks were fantastic and not for a ridiculous price! Dont miss happy hour at the bar where the drinks are super cheap! all of the amenities were great and the staff were extremley hepful giving us tips on places to go and eat and helping us book in activities! Had one of the most relaxing massages at the day spa! Be sure to take a walk to the beach from the resort as its such a quiet beautiful place on the four mile beach - spoke to a local their who said she was suprised we had found this part of the beach! The resort is also in a great location close to everything you need with a 5 minute drive! I think we will definitely be back again, such a relaxing place to be! "
