“This place was beautiful and very accommodating. It was a short walk or bike ride to the beach. The room had everything we needed and beach chairs, beach cart and bicycles were provided. It was right across from a coffee and ice cream shop and a nice restaurant and a gift shop. I will definitely be back to visit.”

“We absolutely loved it and would stay again. Only 2 things were the water pressure is nonexistent in the shower which after a day at the beach and trying to wash the sand off isn’t fun and I wish there was a potholder in the room. It’s fully stocked to cook and use the oven but we didn’t have anything to remove the stuff from the oven. But still absolutely would recommend. ”

“We were very impressed with the condition of our room and the condition of the resort. The staff at was friendly especially the coffee shop staff. Today was the presidential inaugeration so we went to check out 10 minutes before President Trump was sworn in as we had to check out at noon. We rushed the restaurant/bar at rhe resort to watch the President of the United States of America get sworn in. “Given the recent devastation caused by hurricanes to Sanibel Island, the Island Inn has bounced back remarkably. Good people and good accommodations. We definitely enjoyed our stay and plan on doing so again. ”

“Property was good still a lot of construction going on to repair damage from the hurricane. Staff was very nice great service overall experience was nice and easy walkable to pool and the private beach. ”

“Our room had a gulf ocean view. So, location of this hotel next to the ocean is its strongest attribute. The room contains nice enough furnishings. The dual comfort air heater and cooling unit made an annoying noise when on. The sink in the cooking area is small for dealing with dishes and the faucet sprays water everywhere. I am critical here since the room is expensive including resort fees. There are resort amenities available for guests including bicycles, spa, and restaurants. ”

“Both the staff and resort were wonderful. Very clean place. Staff at the hotel, restaurants and pool were all very sweet and helpful. Would highly recommend this resort for families as the units are spacious, have full kitchens, and an outdoor screened in porch. The only negative was that the beach chairs are not included in the stay. You would need to rent them daily or by the week or get your own beach chairs and umbrellas from a local shop and bring them to the beach. Even with that...
