“Perfect! I booked this beautiful place as a birthday surprise for my partner and he loved it. The rooms were lovely and clean, views are stunning and breakfast was excellent! ”

“Very nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room, great views. Clean as a whistle. Bathroom spotless and high spec but shower pressure a bit weak. Slight negative was pool and hot tub was very busy with lots of members - eg 6 teenage boys in the hot tub (perfectly well behaved btw but made it crowded). Appreciate spa is another source of income for hotel but put us off going down next day. Would also have been nice if a few more food options were available in the afternoon as...

“Gorgeous little country retreat. Great place to go out and explore nature. Amazing staff, friendly and accommodating. Great food, breakfast has everything you need. The full English is very impressive, good quality and not oily! Dinner was also of a high standard. You get a real sense of farm yard with this place. We would return. Don’t expect luxury, but you definitely get a cosy and warm experience. ”

“A wonderful visit to this beautiful, well run and happy pub. Genuinely a delight to spend time here. All the staff are excellent, special recognition to Elijah, Hobbs and Kelly for being above and beyond brilliant. Also, Adam made checking in quick and easy. Car park is handy and the number plate system is very simple to use. Food was delicious (we ate in both evenings) and the chef was very happy to accommodate our special dietary needs. “The property was clean. Just the beds were single Beds in all couple rooms. Would be great if they had double beds instead. ”

“Everything about the guest house was superb, including the en-suite bedroom and the breakfast. The hosts were so helpful and friendly, they even made our dog welcome with dog bowl, blanket, towel and treats in the bedroom. It was the perfect end to out fortnight's walking holiday on the South West coastal path and we would certainly stay at Taunton House again if we ever returned to the area. ”
