“Great place to stay for a few days. Room was clean and warm and the bed was very comfy. The shower was good . The bathroom door lock was broken which wasn't an issue for us but might have been for others. Also the toilet seat was loose. It was a shame that the reception desk in the hostel wasn't open and you had tomejter and exit through the bar which my young teen found uncomfortable. I understand there was a shared kitchen but I couldn't find signs for it and it wasn't mentioned by staff -...

“I had a good stay here, place was clean and staff were always so nice when we arrived/departed during the day. Just be prepared for noise - the doors are heavy so do slam and we had someone have a disagreement in our hallway which you could clearly hear, the hostel does provide ear plugs which helped for this occasion! I would stay again if I travelled to Manchester ”

“Peter the owner of this property is a very nice, helpful man. He has put a lot of work and time into this building which caters for low budget stay yet he supplies a self service hot meal and continental breakfast which was very tasty. Our room was bright and cosy, no tv which was not a problem as we had gone out for a birthday party elsewhere. Comfy settee, fresh milk in worktop fridge for drinks supplied and even though a band seemed to be practising after karaoke finished we did get to sleep...
