First of all, it is not a hotel or even an art gallery. It's a Airbnb-type apartment.
Secondly, the room I booked on hotels.com was already occupied when I got there. The host said I had to wait until the room is free before I have my room. I never got my room throughout the 10 nights that I stayed.
There was no air conditioner in the room I stayed. Although the weather was chilly so I didn't really have a need for an air conditioner. But I wonder what will happen during hot times of the year.
Only the bed, dressing mirror and toilet is clean. Everything else had not been cleaned in a while. There was a mosquito net hanging from the ceiling above the bed that disgusted me throughout my stay.
The host was helpful when he was around, otherwise you have to deal with two attendants who don't speak or understand English. The attendants helps in running the place. One usually handles the food, while the other handles cleaning.
Breakfast is usually white bread (always dry and tasteless, I got better in town). Good thing is you are free to cook your own food in the kitchen. I think they also have dinner on request. You can also get your laundry done for free.
WiFi is okay and working 24/7. The neighborhood is good (although the house is on a dirt road) and not too far from the city center.
