“We have stayed at the Old Hall Hotel over many years. On each visit we have never been disappointed with anything the hotel offers. A stay at the hotel is a unique experience. Its long history, in a wonderful location, reflects an atmosphere and character not possible in a more modern hotel. “Nice hotel if lacking a bit of character. Room was ok. It was facing the main road so a bit noisy - no chance of a lie in if you wanted one especially on the Monday. Very comfortable bed and very clean. A little on the cold side for my liking but was offered extra blankets if I wanted. The bathroom was really quite cold even with the heated rail on. “A lovely, comfortable hotel. A good location overlooking Ashbourne with plenty of parking in the pub carpark across the road. The bedroom and bathroom were warm and cosy during a very cold night. Complimentary milk, soft drinks and water in refrigerator - a wonderful touch. The breakfast in the adjoining pub was delicious. Will definitely be returning ”
