Large room with high ceilings and original features - not to everyone's taste but perfect for me. Very quiet and peaceful but easy walk to the town center. “Stayed on a routine trip to Melton Mowbray. The White Lion was reasonably priced, warm and comfortable, with WiFi that worked well enough for me to work using Teams. The owners and their staff were friendly and helpful. The English breakfast was cooked to perfection and as it was included in the price just making it very good value. I travel every week, and it is nice to find a warm room as well as a warm welcome.”
