“Loved staying here for the cultural experience. It is very authentic - it makes you feel as if you have travelled back in time! There is a beautiful little garden and the o-furo is very relaxing. The futons were top quality super comfy too! The land-lady is very lovely and a wonderful host. “It's a good place to go to experience staying in a traditional Japanese house. Very conveniently located near subway, convenience stores, restaurants, public baths and Gion. The kitchenette and laundry room had everything our family needed. Glad there were 2 toilets. Place was clean. It's a bit old with bits chipped off and the ground floor bedroom was rather cold and noisy so we all slept upstairs after the first night.”
