"The location was just a very short walk to the Jardin (main square) and was still pretty quiet due to the way the rooms are situated. I was on the second floor. This is a much older building so there are some interesting older things like total concrete, so you can’t hear the next room!! The ceiling in my room was low,, but that was good, because then I could “deal” better with the occasional crawling thing or two! Overall, the room was very comfortable and the shower was wonderful!"

"Perfect location for seeing the city- right off the main plaza. Great room- w comfortable king bed. Pretty view of sunset over city from our room. Very pretty inner courtyard w lots of bougainvillea and fountain. Staff was helpful. Only downside was that room was very noisy. All the noise from the street echoes into room- and went on till about 2am. Hard to Sleep! "

"I had an excellent stay at Te Amo! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance to el Jardin Allende, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. Although they do offer parking, we opted for a car service to shuttle us around. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, offering coffee/tea, pastries, and fresh fruit. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Te Amo Hotel Boutique for a relaxed, enjoyable experience."

"The staff especially Aracelli embraced me like a sister. She was wonderful in every aspect. The hotel was amazing, it opens into a beautiful kitchen area, a fountain to the other side and dining room, then two comfy living spaces. My room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was my room sat above a very busy and noisy street. I would definitely stay here again! Gracias, Aracelli! "

"The Suites Santo Domingo was a pleasant place to stay, although my room was over the street (more like an alley) and it was noisy from early in the morning until late in the evening. I had to laugh when I saw the electronic safe in the closet had its’ power cord hanging down and there was not an outlet to plug it into. Luckily I didn’t have valuables I needed to store in a safe. "This is a beautiful property with an outstanding staff—from the front desk with Daniela and Luis to the bell boys and room cleaning. They are warm and welcoming, thoughtful and very accommodating. The hotel looks much more lovely than in photos. The beds are super comfortable with good quality sheets. At night they brought in cookies. There were fresh apples for us. Bottles of water. The bathroom was excellent and well stocked. The included breakfast served in a very pretty courtyard has vegan and vegetarian options. The food was consistently good and very fresh, served beautifully, very generous portions. The service does take time so we gave them our breakfast order the night before so we could be served just after 8 am when they opened and be ready for tour/taxi at 9 am. We had dinner at the hotel as well a couple of nights. As the location is very central in the historic area, everything is within an easy walk—though the entire area is hilly with cobbled stones streets. Uber is very safe, inexpensive, and we used it to go to the Botanical Garden and a couple of other places. We highly recommend Don Taco Tacqueria (a short 3-5 minutes walk from the hotel) for outstanding vegan food. it is a very small place, extremely popular, so make a reservation. La Cabria is also close by and open till 4 pm—another outstanding place for vegan food. SMA is very safe (lots of American senior women walking around alone), the food is fabulous, the people are gentle and friendly."
