However, the rooms could benefit from simple fixes like shower curtains and having appliances that plug in close to the outlets. Just minor things, but could help. Also, WiFi was very slow, which is tough when updating travel plans "

"Small room, small price. This is not a normal hotel room. No chairs, very little floor space. We just needed a place to store our luggage and take a shower (in the shared bathroom) before a long flight. It worked very well for that purpose."

"Small facility tucked into an alley off Main Street easy walk to Marche de Papeete and other shopping. The staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to help. The property is older and isn’t luxury it’s great for the budget minded "

"This is like a hillside garden paradise overlooking Teahupo’o and surrounding ocean. Staff is as accommodating as one can get. They are marvelous. The chef is a young man that cooks excellent meals. The bungalow was immaculately clean and one also feels living in nature. Like high quality glamping but perhaps better. The shampoo and shower gel is divine (Tiare)."

"Very helpful in allowing us early entry after an early morning arrival in Papeete. We were able to wait around the pool area, in the shade, until our room was ready, before the normal,11 am check in time. No problem either with a 5am check out."

"We are so happy we stayed at this property. So much nicer than a resort. A very local place. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. For our continental breakfast, all fruit was grown on the property. Delicious. Arno was fabulous and helped us take the bus to Papeete and directed us to the food trucks. Lovely grounds and a wonderful pool. "Simply amazing, we had an Ocean View Bungalow for just the one night (if we had the time we would have loved to have stayed longer). Private beach, swimming pool, comfortable bed and so private, we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Highly recommend for couples or people like us who have spent weeks at sea and instead of staying overnight in Papeete on our Cruise Ship opted to rent a car and see the the real Tahiti. Loved it. "

"Perfect location to see all of Tahiti. We went to see surfing At Teahupo’o and stayed in this town with a grocery store and restaurants. Once the upstairs kitchen is complete it will be a perfect gem. "
