"This place is excellent for what it is - a simple, clean room with basic amenities. I love that it's located right in the middle of everything. We even walked a quarter mile down the road for dinner and drinks so we didn't have to drive after! The bed and linens are comfy, everything works except the drain stopper on our sink. There's a big dog area with poop bags provided and a laundry room. Great food options at reasonable prices in the lobby. The only downside has been some sketchy clientele, but it's a cheap room so what do you want... Overall, highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! "

"Overall room conditions were excellent, I had a very enjoyable stay at The Block. It was convenient to park and get around downtown, rooms were very quiet and quaint. I nice modern feel to an old building. Good job on the redo."
