"This was our 4th time in viva Windham, first 3 times was in viva palace, was excellent. This time, January 2025 was in viva Beach. Ocean front bungalow. "We will be back for sure - this place has many options for kids and adults alike. Only horrible experience is the Front Desk. Transfer from Airport did not work. Half the family missing on registration documents. Upgrade promised - and not delivered (only after protest granted). Front Desk is totally disorganized and everything takes for ever. "

" We visited again February 2025 and it again did not disappoint. The facilities were amazing and the staff was very attentive. Our two young children enjoyed the mini club. Sandra and Dinora were absolutely amazing with the kids, and kept them engaged in many fun activities both in the mini clubhouse as well as on the pool deck. The entertainment staff kept us very busy. We participated in more of the activities this time around and we were glad we did. Alfred and Genna made sure that we would never bored and we loved interacting with them. Many of the staff members that we encountered on our last trip there two years ago remembered us, which made us feel very comfortable and at home."

Hilton La Romana, an All-Inclusive Family Resort

"Beautiful property with nice dining options and plenty to do for a family with young children. Everything was super clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. We were happy with most of the food options (would not recommend the rib eye at The Grill, it was thin, dry and hard to eat). We did the Enclave upgrade which I felt was worth it for the addituonal meal options. We used the main pool most of the time though because it was better for our kids who are still young. Also the Enclave rooms are by where they have weddings and events, so Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights were quite loud until about 10pm or so...at least that was our experience so maybe inquire with the property about room location if that would bother you. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The resort is beautiful and everyone who works there is so friendly and ready to help, they were all great!"

"During our stay, we were consistently impressed by the hospitality. Every single person we encountered was always polite, attentive, and ready to help with any request. While I remember the names of some staff members, like M and L, I want to emphasize that, in general, every staff member we interacted with truly deserves recognition for their excellent service. The entire team contributed to making our experience unforgettable, and we are truly grateful for their kindness and professionalism. Additionally, the Christmas special menu was excellent. The dishes were thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and a true highlight of our stay. It was a wonderful festive experience."
