"Fabulous breakfast worth every penny. Only downside is too much furniture in the bed room. It was covering the electrical outlets so had to keep moving an enormous chair to get to them. Also don’t park under the trees by the entrance, we did and was welcomed back to a car covered in pigeon poo. Never seen anything like it. You have been warned, don’t do it 😂"

"Fantastic stay. On check inn they upgraded our booking to a suite which was a great suprise. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The suite was clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The kitchenette consisted of kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, crockery, cutlery, sink and table and chairs, sofa, two armchairs and a Tv. "Stayed overnight for a birthday celebration, room was lovely, spacious, warm and cosy. Had food in the bar, reasonably priced, very tasty and well presented. The staff were excellent at check in, restaurant and bar, very friendly and professional. "Really good value for money. Car park to the rear which is free. Rooms clean and tidy. Numerous eating options just a very short walk including Weatherspoon's and Asda for breakfast. The Place adjoining does not open for breakfast until 9am. This is the second time we have stayed here when going to the NEC which is under 10 miles away"

"Everything about inside the hotel was good the only thing that wasn`t in line with the interior was the exterior and the car park both of these need to be refurbished and then the place would be nice right throughout. I was greeted by a friendly and pleasant gentleman at the reception desk and also had my room upgraded, so that was a nice uplift to my experience."

The bar and restaurant area are well maintained and cosy and the food and drink was very nice and not too expensive, breakfast was also enjoyable. "We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Nice big comfortable bed, clean room with tea & coffee. Great shower and shower gels, shampoo etc. lovely pool, sauna and steam room. A room near us was a bit noisy one night but a quick call to reception sent security upstairs and all quiet very soon. Cannot praise staff enough. Thank you. "

Birthday Stay at the Grand Hotel

"My partner and I stayed here for his birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of Prosecco and a thoughtful birthday message waiting in our room. The room itself was spotless and incredibly comfortable, with a beautifully designed bathroom. Breakfast was included in our stay and was delicious, though unfortunately, the food and coffee weren’t as hot as we’d have liked. That said, our overall experience was fantastic, and we would definitely return!"

"This is a lovely hotel with brilliant staff. It’s really handy for the tram, only a few steps away, so if you’ve arrived by train this is ideal. Out of the busiest bit of the city centre but easy to get to and handy for lots of eateries. "
