"Very pleasant hotel, although a little tired but the accommodation was fine and the staff friendly. The hotel was opposite a nightclub and Ann having stayed on Saturday night heard nothing. No exit problems from the nightclub although there was evidence of discarded food, chips and the like, but that did not spoil our stay. Would certainly go back again. "Lovely hotel in very convenient and beautiful riverside setting. A few minutes walk through Cathedral Close (gates open until 11pm) to picturesque City Centre. Comfortable beds, plentiful good quality breakfast buffet with attentive staff. The only downside is the decor is very tired, including several broken boarded up windows in public spaces that await replacement"
