"Well this is the second time staying here right before Christmas....Its the husband and wife team that make this place so special. What great kind souls they really are, its people like tjis that give you hope for humanity. As always the best part of staying here is the conversation at the breakfast table with the owners. Merry Christmas and hope to see you next year when we come in to visit family."

"Laureen was very hospitable. She accomodated us every step of the way. There were clean sheets, comforters, pillows and sets of towels arranged in the room. The bathroom was also clean and there was hot water. Laureen checked in on us to see how we slept and if our needs were met. She made a delicious hot breakfast consisting of blueberry pancakes and eggs how we like them served with tea, coffee or water. Lastly, the landlord/hostess, Laureen, always had positive vibes and friendly at all...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Chateau and the surroundings are lovely too. The bed was a little firmer than I prefer and I was a little sore in the morning it my husband said it was good. Always a great place to stay though, nice staff too! "

"Carriage House was an absolute gem! It was stylish, cozy, and spacious. The morning coffee and baked goods for breakfast were outstanding - so good we found the local bakery and got more. It was such a comfortable stay and close enough for us to Rhinebeck. We are definitely planning on making a return trip in the future. "

"I wanted to find a nice bed-and-breakfast inn-type place to stay at during a brief trip to upstate New York (Dutchess County). The Inn at Pine Plains receives consistently excellent reviews on Expedia so I decided to follow those recommendations. The good reviews are accurate. Plus, there are at least two excellent world-class restaurants within walking distance. "
