"Lovely hotel, had a nice weekend. Room was spacious and comfortable. Shower powerful. Beds comfy. Was surprised there was no fridge or toiletries, only a wall pump shampoo. Walls are paper thin, thankfully other guests mostly considerate but could even hear noses being blown from next door! Food at brasserie was hit and miss, and the shoutng from the kitchen was odd and unpleasent. As another table commented, it was like being in McDonalds... Surroundings and social areas were lovely,...

"The property is located near the lake with a great walk to enjoy. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was acceptable however we found the coffee weak and tasteless. We would have appreciated an espresso coffee which standard in 4 stars hotel."

"Great location and amenities, strange breakfast, peas with poached eggs? We’ve been a few times now and there has been a recent change of hands. Highly recommended, but please look at the breakfast menu!"

"Good sized room with safe, hairdryer , tea and coffee making, robes and slippers. Enjoyed the spa after a good walk. Quality breakfast. My only negative was the bed was too hard so I didn't sleep well. My friends in other rooms found beds ok so personal experience. There are some electric car charging facilities in the car park. "

"It's a lovely hotel with excellent grounds to walk the dogs in. Although it could do with a paint touch up in places and some TLC The room we had was clean and the bed was comfy. The service was good however they appeared to be short staffed. The young waitress in the dining room serving evening meal works really hard, and she's a credit to the hotel. The food at both breakfast and in the evening was really nice. We would return to this hotel again if staying over in Keswick."
