"The room was beautifully clean and spacious. The bed was harder than usual. The swimming area was fantastic, very busy on a sat we had to wait about 30 mins. Sunday the spa was very quiet which was great! The restaurant was a disappointment, ordered lamb pie and it was pure fat. It took an hour to arrive so the offer to cook another meal was not an option I wanted to take as I was past being hungry. "The dining room decor was amazing taken from the ship Olympic. Linen tablecloths changed after every meal. The staff were friendly and super efficient and the food was excellent. The bedroom decor was tired and room servicing was below par, water glasses not cleaned. "The hotel seems a little underfunded. All of the staff are both helpful and pleasant. However, the bar was never open during our stay and reception was not always manned. Yes, tea and coffee in the room, standard teabags and Nescafe sachets, perhaps a little biscuit or real milk would have been more pleasant.
