The real highlight was amazing food, I really recommend to go for a half board. What surprised me were some employees at the reception, seemed to be confused and not very professional, a lady called Berta was truly unpleasant, I have never experienced such a behavior at the hotel reception though I am a really frequent traveller. Having been converted from a family friendly place, you have the two huge pools, one exclusively for folks that book a Level room (think VIP within the hotel). "A very nice 4* hotel; I’m aware that hotels are designated their stars on the basis of facilities. This hotel is advertised as 5* but in my opinion it is much more inline with what’s expected of 4*. Positives - staff are very friendly, the ocean view from the room was magnificent. Negatives - the coffee at breakfast is truly disgusting, the beds are very hard, the hotel has a very 80’s vibe and decor - think dark wood laminate, foamy ceiling tiles, one buffet restaurant (no ala carte), dismal...

"Stayed here some years ago, so knew the local. We only popped to Tenerife for 2 nights (yes, it’s perfectly doable as a short break). We had a 3rd floor room with sea view. Bed was comfy and lovely view. Would recommend. "

"Beautiful hotel , stunning spa . Main pool very cold advertised as 27 degrees which it definitely wasn’t . Given wrong room on arrival quickly rectified mistake.Restaurants overbooked couldn’t get a table until 9 pm on arrival when we arrived it was half empty , waited over half an hour for a booked table another night the manager blamed reception for overbooking. Would not do half board again . Breakfast excellent. All staff courteous. "
