"The Capri Inn is a lovely 'room with breakfast'. Great view of the ocean and marina. Far enough from the marina to not be noisy at night but within easy walking distance of this and the funicular to go to the Old Town. The lady who checked us in was lovely and gave us all the information we needed including restaurant recommendations which we perfect. One thing - and the Capri Inn pre warns you about this. "Lovely place to stay on Anacapri! Walkable to restaurants, shopping, and sites. It is much more quiet than Capri. One thing to know about the island in general is that there is open burning, so you can smell that outside often. The hotel itself is very nice, beautiful property and great shower."

"Wonderful! This 4 unit Villa atop a hill in Anacapri has excellent views and is only a 10 minute walk from the bus. Anacapri is a separate town, but close to Capri. Our host offered to arrange a car ( 20euros) to drive us from the ferry to the villa, but we declined as we wanted freedom to explore. We went to the Blue Grotto, ate lunch, etc. Then found out the taxi was 40euros. Our host suggested bus and that was only 7 euros for 2of us and luggage.
