"I was not offered options for rooms at check-in despite availability and having a member status that allowed for this in principle. I know this because my room had a weird smell from the chemical they use in the bathrooms and I had to be moved to another unit that was available despite not being offered this option at check-in, even with the valuable member status from Expedia. There is also a weird charge of $18 that is returned if something is consumed in the hotel which is just a way to make...

"Awesome location. Only recommendations for the hotel is a coat of paint in room 606 the windows especially need stripped and sanded. These windows are probably older than any person in San Antonia. And they need some attention. Peeling paint is not appealing especially if you had young kids with you."

"The stay was pretty good. Service was excellent. Rooms were very clean. Common areas were great. Drawbacks of the trip were: very limited breakfast options at the hotel, lots of construction surrounding the hotel."

"Looks very new/sleek, the room was great and specious! The staff at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. There is a rooftop bar next door, great views! Hotel is walking distance to shop and restaurants. Parking was only valet it seems. I parked at the structure next door, bit cheaper."

"The staff and location was the best, the building was old, but clean and nice. You had to sign in or sign up for various apps in order to watch TV, i.e. Netflix or Freevee or Pluto. It would have been nice to have double pane windows as the outside noise was a little loud throughout the night. "
