"The property is clean and modern. The rooms are spacious and a nice take on the western-Japanese rooms. The location is convenient being right next to the train station and bus terminal. The included breakfast is satisfactory without being great, but was enough to start the day. Staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay."

"Chisun Grand is just 3 mins’ walk from Takayama station. This is my second time staying at the same exact hotel in Nagoya as I liked it for its location. Hotel room is clean, big by Japanese standards ( I had a twin share). The bath room is also larger than average hotel bath room size. Hotel is near Miyagawa morning market ( 5 mins’ walk) along the river. Enjoy the cool breeze against rushing waters in the river, where you can find carps, fishes, ducks and birds . "The room was very large, comfortable, and well decorated. The staff provided excellent service. For example, with another guest accidentally took our umbrella from a common storage area, staff drove us to a store and purchased a replacement umbrella for us. We could not have asked for more. The ryokan was within walking distance of the train station and the old town area. The breakfast was well prepared with a good variety for both the Japanese and Western Style offerings. We are very glad...

"Even though there was a sign to ring the bell for help with luggage to the 2nd floor, no one came to help after ringing the bell several times so we had to carry our luggages up ourselves. Other than that, everything else was excellent. "

"The hotel is comfortable, clean and close the station. 10 minute walk to the town. Our room was spacious and had a safe, microwave, hob, fridge-freezer and a washing machine. There was a separate toilet, and wet room. There is a 7 11 across the road. The hotel has a public onsen that good. Good value for money"

"Hotel that's literally facing the train station, despite that it's not noisy. There aren't a great deal of trains that go through the area. Some shops relatively close by, though a good 10 mins walk to where the action is. Hotel itself is nice and clean and friendly staff. Dropped off my baggage as I arrived a good few hours before checkin. No hesitation staying here again."
