"Not sure why this place has a 4 star rating, a 3-star rating is being nice. While it’s close to the beach and the house keeping staff were amazing, that’s about all the nice things I can say. The check in staff was rude and basically threw us our key and didn’t explain anything. We got yelled at for parking near our room after being told to park there to unload our bags ourselves. While there is a private beach for the hotel, they don’t tell you beforehand hand that you have to pay to use it....

"The location of this hotel is magical. The private beach is beautiful and idyllic, and everything at the hotel is oriented towards the extremely beautiful sea. If you want to swim and relax in peace, this is the place for you. Walls are thin so earplugs are good for sensitive sleepers. "

"I enjoyed my stay quite a lot. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was big and clean. Parking was easy. The location is minutes away from town (a 5-minute walk or less) to restaurants and the beach. Breakfast was plentiful and there were views of the island. "

"We had an amazing week at Villa Verde. The pool and the beach are great, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is very familly friendly and a 15 min walk from the nearest town with great restaurants. The food at the beach was good and not expensive, but we found it was best to go to town for dinner except if you want to trade off a bit of quality/price to stay on side and eat eqrlier (finner open at 7:30 and service is very fast). I will go again."

"Pros: Great beach; restaurant in the hotel; near the beach; great ocean view; free parking; free towels for guests to use at the beach (ask at the reception). Cons: Lots of stairs to get e to the beach; and only one restaurant option to dine in (the hotel one). But you can drive only 5 minutes to get to another town with lots of good restaurants and shopping options. Would definitely stay again here as the beach felt more private and less touristic than in other towns of the island. The...
