"The hotel was more modern than expected, and this was mainly due to the pictures shown online. We had both also thought that the location was somewhat more remote, perhaps in a wooded area, but it is actually on the edge of an housing estate! The staff at the hotel were polite, and nothing was too much for them. A special mention to the bar/waitress young lady with the pink hair braids (unfortunately I can't remember her name), who made us feel especially welcome.There was a good selection of food at breakfast and poached eggs were available on request. We ate in the restaurant for one evening meal which was also good. We chose not to have our room serviced, which entitled us to a free drink at the bar. However, we later found out that it was only one drink between the two of us, and when ordered, I was told it was only one for the whole stay, not per night. I don't think I would choose this option again! The room was comfortable and had everything needed. Just one thing I would point out is that as you enter the room, there is a rather large shelf. We both walked into it on several occasions and both of us had bruising as a result. There was room to move the shelf at least another foot away from the door, and I think this would be a good idea. I had a massage booked, which was cancelled, due to agency staff not wanting to work after 4pm even though my appt was booked for 5pm! They offered me the following morning, but we were leaving, so I had a refund and two free drinks "

"Very nice hotel, room was nice with everything you would need and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again without a doubt. The only negative was the sofa bed. I think they need vast improvement as it was extremely uncomfortable with next to no padding. This unfortunately resulted in a poor sleep. That being said, i would still happily return, i would just reserve 2 rooms rather than sharing."

"Firstly, this is a hotel you really have to have brought your car to. If you have a car, getting around will be super easy. Nice comfortable stay, v comfy bed. My only two gripes - the only food we ate was a dessert we ordered (crumble and brownie) both were below average and at £8 that’s bad. The room temperature wouldn’t change, despite me turning on the aircon "

"Fast check in. Very comfy bed with squishy pillows. Like a giant hug! Excellent choice at breakfast. Sadly just a one night stay for a family party nearby. Only niggle point was that bin in bathroom had not been emptied from previous occupants otherwise excellent stay. "

"very comfortable stay in club double room which had a small fridge. the hotel is in the centre of stratford just over a bridge to the centre. it’s on the river side. dining is in bistro pierre which is in the hotel. great food and great service c"
