We had a fantastic one night stay at the double tree Cheltenham. The bedroom was beautiful with a lovely bathroom. The service was second to none, from the barman to the fantastic waitress Justina who couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel welcome. We will definitely return

Even though being renovated, this stay was perfect. Staff so friendly and helpful, fabulous breakfast, lovely twin room and a nice pub The Clock Tower literally on the doorstep. Would definitely stay again, the Spa and staff were also lovely and I can highly recommend the Back Massages.

Everything was pretty good but menu in dining room could be improved. Allowing Spa guests at hotel to dine in main pleasant dining room in their towelling dressing gowns in evening when others dressed properly was an unbelievable mix and intolerable ; where are standards going- this certainly was unacceptable!

We enjoyed the visit, we did think the food in the bar and breakfast let it down, Hot breakfast was barely warm. No fresh crusty bread or rolls just sliced bread for toasting. We both had salad for main meal in the bar and it was very small, more like a starter. Staff very friendly and helpful and room very comfortable.

First of all it was freezing. Problem with the heating - I would expect a full refund (not offered). Arrived too late for restaurant food so asked about 24hr room service…apparently only starts at 11pm and ends s for drinks only!!? Went to the bar for some crisps/nuts to be told they’d run out…who stays at a hotel where you can’t get anything to eat…unimpressed
