“We were only here one night but it’s a great location, very clean and comfortable. The $40 parking per day would get pricey but it is a great location and you get what pay for. They were doing a lot of upkeep work on the property although none of it disrupted our stay. There was a scheduled power outage but I don’t know if it even happened as it was after we were asleep, however they did provide flashlights just in case. Great customer service.”

“My biggest advice- take the upgrade. The Pines is the renovated version of La Jolla Coves and very modern, clean, and functional. I initially was placed in one of the regular rooms and I would have never stayed there- the room was dirty and the quality of a cheap motel. Otherwise, this property is a fantastic location and the staff was nice. When I reported the dirty room they addressed my concerns promptly and upgraded my room.”
