Location is good and it's a good way to experience the Coonawarra as there are limited accommodation options available, despite it being a fantastic place to explore ”

“Booked for 2 nights during Festival but upon arrival was allocated an upstairs room. Despite the property not being fully booked was told a ground floor room was not available. This was a problem for us as being elderly we found that climbing stairs difficult. Parking was behind the building and open to anyone passing, I found this not very secure. Restaurant was Closed. ”

“For a basic overnight , no fuss stay it was fine. The self check in is an excellent idea. The staff down the road at the Highlander Restaurant and at the William MacIntosh were lovely. ”

“The property was neat and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a front room for our stay which was close to a main highway so a little noisy. The rooms while clean could really do with some updating - they are quite tired. ”
