"The food was horrible if you are not a fish eater you could go with out food. Warning the chicken curry is full of bones broken and sharp. Our complementary breakfast never came. they have 3 items on there dinner menu and you still have to wait 1.5 to 2 hours for it to arrive. When you go to check out they had no credit card machine so that added a layer of difficulty to the stay. "

"Hursey Resort was a very pleasant stay for us. It is just outside Soroti (about 5km) on the edge of town with views of the surrounding area. The hotel is in secure compound with large garden grounds. The Staff are excellent, very professional, helpful and friendly. The room was large, clean and very comfortable with AC and plenty of hot water for the shower. Wifi was generally good and quite fast. "Kumi is in a poorer part of Uganda and the hotel reflects that. It tries hard and was much improved from my last visit. Hot water consistently and lovely staff. "
