"The hotel is beautiful, but almost nobody speaks even basic English, which I found strange as it's a 4-star hotel. The pool area was a bit gloomy. There was no music, no nice vibe and you had to wear a swimming hat to enter the pool. Just the atmosphere of the pool area was a bit cold. The hotel itself was at a nice location, the staff was semi-helpful, definitely not smiley. "This was my worst ever hotel experience. Ignorance, incompetence, and shady practices. I arrived late at night and they told me my room was under repair. I said just give me a different room, and they said they couldn't do that--I would have to cancel the room and upgrade to a new room, and pay upfront. I did that, haven't received my refund on the canceled room yet, and the replacement room smelled like mold. They don't speak English and don't know how to help you with routine hotel...
