"It was great, the only downside was not being able to organise to enter our room any earlier than 3 pm., even though we arrived at 10:00 am. The add for the hotel said "free shuttle" but there was no shuttle from the airport. The shuttle was only available from the hotel to the airport, when leaving. Other wise a good place to stay. "The property is surrounded by trees and one of its buildings has a view - though mostly covered by the trees - to the lake. It should be conducive to a pleasant and peaceful stay but wasn't. In my last week at this property, I was moved to a studio apartment that was literally falling apart - I have pictures. "The thermal pools are really fun. They were doing construction on a new area. Noisy, but it didn't affect using the pools that were open. The staff was nice, hotel was clean, but has been a while since last renovation."

"Excellent historic hotel in a picturesque location right on the lake. From a view standpoint, splurging for the lake-view room is worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful and the area is beautiful and walkable. The room was large and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Huge bonus, right across the street from the train station. I have a couple of complaints and I have these same complaints with every one of these older, historic hotels. They seem to be lacking in soundproofing and transfer noise from adjacent or above rooms. Second, every balcony hotel in Europe seems to allow smoking. This is unfair to those of us who don't smoke. I don't want to smell or hear people in the adjoining rooms. I also DO want to enjoy my balcony. I'm sure there's some sort of a calculation and because most Europeans smoke, they allow it. I have yet to be at a balcony hotel that didn't allow smoking and it's annoying. Can't even open the windows if the balcony next to you or below you is smoking. It just comes right in the room. Completely unfair."

"Great location, walkable from the train. Very nice check in staff. We had to take a twin room and the beds were not great, they are lower at the head of the bed than at the foot. They don’t have any extra pillows in the whole hotel. It was great to have a nice size shower and a portable fan for the bedroom area. "
