"Not what it seemed from the outside. Looked a bit tired but we were pleasantly surprised once we had checked in via the check~in kiosk. The room was very well presented, excellent air con and a nice cold refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable and room was extremely quiet. We have stayed in posher hotels that didn’t have that comfort. "Stayed overnight in October on way back from SA to see Lake Tyrell. Cabin was pretty good. Fairly spacious, well equipped and very clean, perhaps overly clean - the room smelt so strongly of bleach it was uncomfortable to be in until it had been aired for 2-3 hours. Very annoying. The room was relatively quiet despite being near the highway. We may have been lucky with few roadtrains and other guests that night. "Before we had arrived, I received a simple message that let me know the easy way to obtain the room key, all without complaint, which showed understanding of how things can just get busy on a trip. Made check in and checkout seemless (perfect.) And, the other thing my wife and I would like to highlight is that the bathroom had a non slip style tile floor throughout which we feel is perfect if you have small kids like we do. We highly recommend Plowmans. "
