"I like how close this was to the metro station, it made it easy to commute back and forth to central Amsterdam. I stayed in 3 hostels and this was the cleanest and offered the most amenities. When I come back to Amsterdam, I will most likely book here! Thank you :)"

"Convenient location with Starbucks a supermarket and many restaurants nearby staff were helpful beds where clean with white bedding in general cleanliness was good bathrooms were new unfortunately showers on upper floors were unusable due to poor water pressure kitchen was not adequate very small with no seating and poor condition Building was generally run down with flaking paint plaster falling off ceiling electrics were scary extension chords bare wires and taped up damaged chords "

"The location is very good . It is walkable and very convenient to any major sightseeing sites. One little issue is that the shower head tilts towards to the open entrance and water flows out."

"The Generator is fantastic!! I stayed in one of the pods. If you haven't done it, you have to try it! I slept amazingly well and they are so comfy and cozy! The staff is very helpful and easy going. The breakfast is delcious and not too expensive. Save some $$ and pre-buy your breakfast at the front desk. :) Neat history...fun place...good price!!"

"Very good location walkable to train station and canals. We stayed n the lowest floor and all 3 shower stalls did not have hooks to hang our clothes or towel. Since it is an all gender bathroom this may be awkward. "

"A brilliant, warm welcome and lovely stay. The room had a wonderful view over Houthavens! Personally, I preferred the amenities at TWENTY EIGHT, but both the spa and gym were very well equipped at BOAT & CO, a big plus. I plan to return and try the restaurant / bar next time. Thank you, team!"

"Had many options to choose from but this was the one, this is really it, walkable to anywhere or close to the very good public transportation Amsterdam has to offer. Nice hotel in the heart of Amsterdam, separate from the noisy parts of the city, yet very close to them. At check in, we were greeted with a cup of wine, staff was welcoming, helpful and ready to answer any questions. Didn’t get to explore all amenities as we were out most of the time, but it was sure nice to get back and have a clean room to go back to and relax. The only suggestion would be to have a variety of pillows to choose from as the ones provided will deflate. Overall, a beautiful hotel, highly recommended. "

"Loved our hotel room, the location, and Bruno! He was so kind and helpful, made us feel welcome. The room was huge! Super clean room, comfy bed, and amazing shower. The location is phenomenal - close to everything, tram right in front of the hotel, beautiful canals, endless shops and food options. Despite the location, the hotel was still quiet allowing for a good sleep. Highly recommend! "

"If you are a breakfast person, get the breakfast included, it is worth not paying full price either here or in the area. When construction on the station is done this will be an even better spot. Not a posh place but not meant to be rooms clean and comfortable staff and services great."
