"From the moment you enter, the gorgeous scent of what's to come envelopes you. An absolutely gorgeous check-in area. It felt like walking into a museum. "Stayed in a double room for two nights as part of a bigger Europe backpacking trip, and it had everything we needed. Room and bathroom were spacious. Everything was clean. Somewhat of a view of Vondelpark. It’s not particularly near a bus stop but Amsterdam is walkable anyway. You do have to go down this weird and long alley to get to the entrance or go through Vondelpark. There isn’t AC but we learned that that’s normal for Europe. Didn’t get to try the breakfast or bar on the lobby floor....

"We were nervous arriving at this hotel as some reviews were horrific! We were delighted to find that the room and en-suite bathroom were absolutely spotless. Yes, the stairs are a bit grubby and *very* steep but so were every other stairs we came across in Amsterdam. Yes, the beds are probably narrower and closer together than some other hotels, but they were absolutely clean and combined with the fantastic location we were delighted at this find. "Loved Bob W. Stunning apartment complex, really good location - only a few stops on the bus to Amsterdam Centraal. The bus stop is right around the corner not even 2 minutes walk. I loved the little touches in the room like the stickers, the tote bag and the lil Polaroid camera that you can use and keep the pics (not the camera ofc so don’t pinch it 😉). "Air conditioning on my room broke, it’s super warm, after letting the staff know they really try there best to help, on the middle of the night one staff brought a fan and unlocked the window, and they have building maintenance fix it right the next day, for me that’s a good job other than that everything on this hotel it perfect "

"Really loved this hotel, loved the extra little bits other hotels don’t do - free glass of wine between 4-5, free fruit water and iced tea, stroopwaffels when leaving, slippers and dressing gowns in rooms - all lovely touches! "Fantastic stay for a last night before flying out the next day. Will def stay here again, but only for conscience of flying in or out of Schiphol. I wouldn’t stay here for a trip or vacation b/c of the location. But everything for the airport is great!"
