Explanation being ‘they’re doing something in the kitchen’ but not communicated at any point in the booking process. Also never mentioned gym or pool during check in so maybe that was closed too..."

"Arrived for a 2 night stay to be told our second night was cancelled due to government take over of the hotel. No call/email warning us of this so we arrived with two tired children and couldn’t then check into our room for three hours whilst I called hotels.com to try and sort it out. Hotel staff were useless and wouldn’t even make eye contact or offer help. Ended up ringing the USA for hours as hotels.com don’t have a UK switchboard. Abysmal service"

"This is a lovely airport hotel, well designed, quiet and ticks all the boxes for a stay pre or post your trip. I had a pleasant dinner however the bar food service was a little hit and miss - I had to jump up twice to go and get things from the entrance desk. There was no explanation of how things worked, if someone came to take order or if you ordered at the bar, basic thing really. "The team were excellent from the minute I arrived. Room was very clean and pleasant temperature. The only thing I would have liked was pillow protectors and feel the pool access could be included for the steep cost per night of the room. Convenient parking if a little pricey. "

"Pretty standard stay for a Holiday Inn. Thought I’d leave a review though as the windows are not well glazed and due to the location can experience a lot of noise from the road below. I wouldn’t return based on this as I do like my quiet for sleep."
