It was too hot in the room despite turning the ventilation off. Could not put AC on, we had to open the window.

The room was fine - you get what you pay for. But the listing said the area was quiet. It was quite the opposite. And the wifi didn’t work. The staff were all very nice though.

The hotel is closed to the train station but make sure you get out in the right direction due to multiple exits.

The hotel was fine, the location was ok, if you are walking, not terrible, but great if you need to take the train or bus. Train station is right in front of Hotel. The staff was fine with check in, didn’t find anyone very friendly or go out of their way for you. They did recommend a good place for dinner, & said you get a free drink. But when we went to the restaurant, we were told only one type of wine, small glass & small beer. Which is better than nothing. Other thing they told us the taxi would be about €42 euro, but when we got to the Airport the taxi chq us €56 euros, total rip off as there was no traffic, Sunday morning around 7:00am There was no phone in the room either for you to call the front desk, you really felt it was a no frill Hotel. Shampoo & body wash are one , no shower cap, nothing in the mini fridge, no water. Did not include free breakfast , but there are places to get breakfast around including the train station, had lots of options

The front desk clerk who checked us in was not knowledgeable with the area. Did not do an overview of hotel facilities and did not offer breakfast service available. Air conditioning did not work. Asked front desk for lamp bulb replacement on first day , was never replaced. Kleenex box was left empty for a couple of days. Large stains in hall way carpet. TV only had local stations not in English provided no international English news station.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly before I checked in and I found stuff from the prior guest beneath the bed and sink. The air conditioning didn’t work at all, nor does the window open wide enough to make a difference, and both nights I woke up sweating buckets. Otherwise the hotel was clean, the staff were nice and breakfast was decent.

We were a group of 7 travelling together. The problem that we had was that there was no air conditioning at the hotel. We were told that it was now winter in Vienna and the hotel’s air conditioning was now shut off until spring! The outside temperature was 23 degrees C, and our rooms were even hotter. There was a small window that opened but didn’t provide much relief. The train station is across the street, so opening the window also meant that it was noisy in addition to hot. The comforters were polyester, so also hot and not breathable. All of the other guests we spoke to had the same complaint. Definitely does not deserve a 4 star rating based on that alone. The hotel is located across from the main train station which is convenient.

This hotel advertised air conditioning and there was none. It was 24 degrees and sunny outside and no AC as the hotel was switched to “winter mode”. Our room was warm and uncomfortable and at night it was difficult to sleep. This was mid September! They hotel could not even provide a fan.
