"I really enjoyed my stay at HI Santa Monica. The women’s dorm felt safe and clean and welcoming. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was a great bonus! "One of the better hostels in LA. Prompt response from host. Easy check-in as long as you upload ID. Mostly clean expect the fl of female dorm bathroom. Only one bathroom for female dorm. Nice, well-stocked kitchen w/several pots, utensils etc. Only an uncomfortable bench available for indoor seating. Can't sit on the patio chairs in the back b/c of discarded cigarettes all over the ground & guests throw things from patio. Mostly long-term residents there. Wifi not the best."
