"Absolutely amazing. Dead-center of everything you'll want to see and do in Valparaiso. If you can, get a room with the terrace view, which provides direct access to the stairs to the roof and its stunning 360 degree views. The couple that runs this place are just lovely and very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Our only complaint was the lack of a mini-fridge in the room. A lot of the restaurants in the area served huge portions, and we had nowhere to put the leftovers."

"This place is nice. When you walk to the reception it looks a lot humbler than it actually is. The rooms are very nice, great ocean view from all of our rooms. Rooms are modern and well appointed, bathrooms are a bit too close to the bed, lacking privacy. The deck is nice, overlooking the ocean and neighborhood. "Nice hostel, very clean, and I like the emphasis on sustainability. The folks running the hostel were very nice and keen to help out at all times. The location on Avenida Brasil was fine, about a 15 minute walk to Cerro Concepcion/Cerro Alegre (where you'll probably spend most of your time) - that said, there are several other options that are located closer to that area. Simple breakfast of toast and fruits was included."
