"Great host and fantastic diner"

"Enjoyed 2 nights. Positives: - Very friendly and helpful staff - Great location. The history of the hotel site is wonderful - The saunas were great - enjoyed the outside pool for a few hours. Great views from the pool deck - Room was a great size and nice view from the balcony. - Fantastic continental breakfast. Negatives: - Beds were far too firm for our liking. Of course, this is all in your personal preference but we had trouble getting comfortable. - The outdoor hot tubs were not “hot”...

"Great hotel/resort. Pet friendly (we stay with our dog) and staff was really helpful too. Breakfast was good too.. Rooms does not have A/C. On the other hand, you have the Church Clock that bangs every hour 24/7 so you can hear in the night as well. I think the owner of the hotel should talk with the Church to avoid the sounds at least at night. Normal price for what you get."

"The hotel manager and employees are not doing their jobs. No towels changed in the room even if we left the dirty ones on the floor, the hotel manager or any employee didn't know how the room safe worked, the fridge in the room wasn’t working and was replaced just the last day. Even so re s we, when we complained the hotel manager said it was our fault. All other people at the hotel were paying much less because they didn’t book through Expedia. "Almost everything about the hotel was excellent; Staff - genuinely friendly. Big shout out to Carlos, the courtesy shuttle driver. Last night however, the meal arrived cold. This leads me to believe that the meals are pre-prepared and then microwaved for serving which is not what I would expect. ...
