"This hotel was in a great location for a great price. The room was sparse and kind of run down but for the price near paris, we sucked it up and aren't the kind of people who need a lot of luxury (i.e. more than one bar of soap for a 5 person apartment). The crux of our stay was due to the fact that it was June, and our radiator was stuck on high heat. "There was nothing to like. When we drove up to the property we were concerned. We went in and right away we were worried the place was so dirty and run down. I had the picture of the room on Expedia and showed it to the manager and asked if they had one like it, he looked totally surprised and made a funny noise. Our room was gross. "Poor service. We checked in at 10.30 pm and I asked what time the bar was open until and was told it was closed, they were still serving! In the morning, housekeeping entered the room at 9.00 am and we were still sleeping. I informed reception but they did not speak English, eventually someone came who spoke English and said it was my fault as I didn’t put the do not disturb sign in the door. They were not interested at all."

"I don't understand it, but Everytime and takes two events together... There are empty rooms, but will put everyone together. I don't understand it, have 50 empty rooms, but will put next person right next to me. For housekeeping? You mean the ones that go up and down the halls anyway? Never mind the customers. Next part is that people are rude and unaware, as they talk (can hear through walls) and slam doors, always ruin the doors and slam them. Management seems to like that. Never again."

"An amazing 4 night stay at Hotel de Roubaix still can’t believe it’s only 2 stars. 3 of us stayed in a family (triple) room and were delighted with the decor, beds, bathroom and cleanliness. Great location to explore some of the popular attractions in Paris and the metro line (4) is a 5 minute walk away (Reamus Sebastopol). Only 1 change at Garde de Nord and less than 1 hour from the airport. Hotel is quirky annd unique and has character and charm of its own. Staff on reception were lovely and very helpful and my daughter loved the hotel dogs who sit quietly in reception. Breakfast was available at the hotel but there’s so many places nearby that we didn’t bother. I will be recommending this hotel to family and friends and it will be a first choice when visiting Paris again. "
