The room is fine, the shower is very good- plenty of hot water. When we opened the door to the room, a blast of hot air came out. Even though the thermostat was set all the way to ‘cool’ the room is a sauna. All of the surfaces are radiating heat. We could not do anything further to the thermostat to dial it down, so we turned the fan setting to off, and opened the window and propped open the door.
Terribly inconvenient as we have no privacy and our door opens to the smoking area on the second floor stairs. But we managed to let some heat out. When I called the desk to ask if there’s a repair needed or another room available, I was told no. And that this time of year the heating is all that is on for all rooms, there’s no way to get cool options. Not to mention that putting the hot phone handset to my face was interesting. And they hadn’t had complaints about this room being damaged or too hot.
Oh well….
