"Upon departing the Martha's Vineyard ferry from Vineyard Haven, we drove less than 15 minutes to the Edgar Hotel. The staff were welcoming, hospitable, and helpful with suggestions for places of interest to visit. The room was new, spacious, clean with a comfortable bed, and was quiet except for the exit door near our room that would slam shut and wake us up at 5:30 AM. Our corner room had many windows that offered natural light, however, we were on the first floor and cars parked outside our window could see in if we had the blinds open. The only thing missing are black out curtains. The shower faucet was difficult to turn off if you have arthritis. These are minor things in comparison to the convenient location next to Stop and Shop market, ample parking, and close proximity to all the shops, restaurants, and beach. We will gladly reserve a room here again next time we visit. "

"This is a BEAUTIFUL property. Staff was helpful and friendly, we were in room 16 which I would highly recommend with its double sink and charming view with lenten roses in the window boxes. We had a poor experience at the correlating restaurant via mare, which we would decidedly NOT recommend. I think my only recommendation for management is to run their own restaurant and turn some of that space into a sitting area for guests with tea/coffee."

"I had a wonderful time staying here. The inn provided thoughtful amenities, including bathrobes, shampoo and conditioner, daily housekeeping, and a consistently restocked fridge. The continental breakfast and complimentary cookies were definite highlights! A special shoutout to David, the innkeeper—he was incredibly diligent and quick to communicate. Highly recommend!"
