"Good hotel. Room cleaning was hit and miss. We had to go and ask for towels and other items that were not replaced in the room after cleaning. The room and bathroom wasn't the cleanest we ever stayed in. The breakfast was of a good standard but warm plates for the hot food options would have helped to keep the food warm. The coffee was from a machine and ok. Good selection of breads and hot food and fruit etc. breakfast staff were good. The pool is very small and you have to reserve your place...

"The flat was in a quiet area just a few blocks from Grassmarket Square which has lots of pubs and restaraunts. We were here for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the flat was a short walk to most of the venues. Just around the corner from the flat on Spittal St is the Blue Blazer (a lovely neighbourhood pub for a night cap), and The Source Coffee to get you going in the morning. We would definately stay here again."
