The Titanic Museum Attraction is a very popular site in Branson, Missouri. See more than 400 artifacts on display in many galleries, have fun with the interactive elements throughout the ship and enjoy a fantastic place full of beautiful and interesting details that recreate the glamorous and tragic experience of this 1912 luxury ship.
John Joslyn is the owner of two Titanic-themed museums, one in Branson and one in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. In 1987 John was one of the leaders of an expedition to the site where the Titanic sank. After a month at sea the expedition had been down to the site 32 times in a high-tech submersible. After all his hard work, he co-produced a famous television special about the adventure and created the Titanic Museum where you can now see one of the world’s largest permanent collections of Titanic memorabilia. The building where the museum is located looks like the majestic ship. You must step through an artificial iceberg into the gallery. Upon your arrival, you will receive a boarding ticket with the name of an actual Titanic passenger with his or her brief history. At the end of your visit you will find out if that person was one of the 706 survivors of the tragedy.
The museum has spectacular details and exhibits. Imagine the captain steering the wheel on the bridge and the communications officer frantically tapping out emergency messages on the ship’s wireless. Listen to stories told by real survivors and see a fascinating display of genuine artifacts valued above $4 million. Enjoy a family-friendly museum where children get to experience great hands-on displays. Every child receives a special boarding pass with the name of a real young passenger they can relate to. See how they learn and enjoy the museum with the special audio tour just for kids.
