"Room was amazing! There are beautiful exposed beams and the room is quite spacious and clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. The only negatives are that there are two bars near the building and you can hear the noisy patrons until late into the night. In addition, you hear the workers preparing for the open market early in the morning. Ear plugs are a must!"

"We loved staying at Donna Camilla. The staff was very accommodating and made us feel very welcomed. They went above and beyond for us such as calling us cabs, keeping our luggage after we checked out, and helping us extend our stay. "We loved that the hotel was on a quiet street away from tourists. The staff was very helpful. We drove and had to arrange to park the car and followed their directions. The apartment had a neighborhood feel but was close to everything. It had everything we needed. The kids loved their loft bedroom. We extended our stay at the hotel. We’d come again! Back for sure. "Had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Very convenient and walkable in and around the Vatican. Room is a very good size with high ceiling. Lots of restaurants around the area. My only issue is the room has about 4 wall electronic switches and it would be nice to have an option to dim or turn off those lights as it is so bright after all lights are turned off. Otherwise, the room was excellent! "

"We specifically wanted something in this general area but didn't want a large hotel atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay very much -- the room was comfortable and spacious (a rarity in cities like Rome) with everything we needed. Loved the heated towel rack and the well appointed bathroom; very comfortable bed, mini-fridge, coffee/tea machines, safe, climate control, etc. The only downside was no bathtub (that's a personal preference and did not diminish our enjoyment of the room) and that the location can have some traffic noise (however, that stopped around midnight, so not a deterrent) The staff was knowledgeable, informative, helpful and friendly. Communication from the hotel prior to arrival was appreciated and we knew exactly when/where to check in. Luggage storage was available and, while we were out and about prior to gaining access to our room, the staff had already delivered our luggage to the room, to where we were personally escorted by staff. We stayed in the "annex" which was a half block walk from the main location. Buffet breakfast was served in a charming room with a good variety of things to have a light or more substantial meal. Again, the staff there was very good, helpful and accommodating. Overall, this was an excellent choice and we'd definitely consider coming back in the future. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Sonder Testaccio. We took a cab from the airport but the bus and metro stops are nearby and we used those too. The hotel is very nice with 24 hour coffee and water and a lovely "continental" breakfast (for an extra 15 euros) which is really a full buffet. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, and there was a medicine cabinet and drawers in the bathroom which was super helpful and convenient. There is someone at the desk 24 hours and they were all so nice and friendly and ready to help with restaurant recommendations, calling a cab, and anything else that we needed. The Pyramide metro stop is a 10 minute walk and then only two stops to Coliseo. We found the metro very clean, fast, and safe. There is a very cool market, "Mercato di Testaccio" right next door and a contemporary art exhibit called Mattatoio (don't confuse them like we did) on the other side. And we can recommend the restaurant Ai Cocci which had such wonderful service and food."
