Absolutely wonderful hotel to stay in Paris

Helpful staff, great location, but our room was a dud. The hotel seems beautiful on the lower floors, it is worthwhile it seems to book the more expensive rooms here. However, our room was like a shoebox and our view was horrible, it looked out over an exhaust area across the interior of the building. We paid a pretty penny and I was pretty disappointed with the room that we got. When we arrived, it was dirty, we found fingernails on the bedside table when we arrived. Hotel staff was accommodating and apologetic, but it was disheartening for first impressions. The room often smelled like mildew, I'm guessing due to the location and area our window looked out over. Overall the interior of the hotel is a little more rundown than you can see in pictures. It was a safe hotel and I appreciated the helpful staff, but I can't deny that I was disappointed.

Good location, surprisingly quiet, easily walkable to Tour Eiffel and Hôtel des Invalides. Nice and updated executive rooms. Particularly wonderful service staff in the breakfast area during the week. Management is attentive to service quality and responds quickly and personally. Overall a very pleasant experience and stay at Le Cinq Codet. The gym area attached to the Spa is a bit small.
