"Absolutely amazing experience, super helpful, friendly and fun warm and kind staff. This was a once in a lifetime experience enjoyed by my husband and I and our 2 children. The pool before we got the camels was lovely, the children were afraid to get up on the camels but the staff reassured them and made it work. The dessert was breathtaking. "We loved our stay it is much better than the pictures show, staff was so friendly and accommodating that we extended our stay for two more nights. We also took a camel excursion over night and they let us keep our bags in our room for free one night while away. I would recommend this to my family and friends to visit. "This was an amazing and unique experience in the middle of the desert. The camel ride and the SUV tour was worth it . I had tea in the nomads tent ,visited the old mines , listening to a life Gnawa show and lunch at Nora restaurant than camel ride back to camp .The host Zaid was the best host ever , he picked us upon arrival at 2am and drove us to camp than serve us a full dinner course especially made for us .I want to thank Zaid ,Mohamed and Fatima for making our visit so special . "

"Our family of 4 stayed 3 nights in Auberge Les Roches. We arrived by rental car around sunset and were pleased to have a complimentary tajin dinner that night. The breakfast was good, and we made tons of use of the pool, which was a hit with our kids. Amazing dunes are just a short walk away. We were in the area for fossil hunting. A couple other notes: we had to pay for the room in cash only, which we didn’t get notice about until the day before checkout and nearly had a problem with because there was only one ATM machine in town and it limited us to withdrawing 4000 MAD per account per day. I would have preferred a reminder at check in that we still needed to pay for the room and that it was cash only."

"Youssef has created an exquisite hotel space in the heart of the desert. He designed and crafted the hotel with love and it shows. After growing up in the region he set out to get his degree then learned the craft of the international hospitality industry first-hand working with tourists across the globe. He retuned home and built the Desert Villa after architecting a design that is eco-friendly and beautiful. He hired craftsmen to execute his concept from the tile work in the pool and entry fountains, and guestrooms. He commissioned artwork, fossilized marble, wood carvings, and made lovely use of locally made drums for pendant lights as well as other touches of grace and beauty throughout the hotel and rooms. Youssef took us around his town, gave unique touring ideas, and showed us true guest hospitality. He and his staff were excellent, spoke beautifully in English and French and made some of the best breakfasts we've enjoyed this trip. The best place to stay in the region!"
