"The Lawford was a lovely place to stay in Malindi. The 3 bedroom villa and private pool were amazing. Large upstairs and downstairs lounge areas. Lots of space for everyone. There was a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, utensils etc. Service was great. Staff were delightful. Had fun with pool and table tennis. We would live there, if we could! Our neighbors were a bit loud but management tried to help with the situation. The beach is close but the water was brown and not “inviting.” There is a river just north that drains into the ocean right above the property. We would definitely visit again!"

"We loved the Lamu House hotel. The location was excellent and service wonderful. Not for people who can’t handle stairs however and may not be suitable for very young children but for us it was perfect. The restaurant was great too. Service was slower sometimes but it didn’t matter. Food was delicious. We loved the pool with the fragrant frangipani trees over it. "

The choice of 3 hotels in one offers a variety of options to choose from and gives guests a variety of experiences. It's close to the airport and to Malindi town which makes moviing around easy. "

"The hotel needs to improve the communication between the stuff and check that the amenities are always working inside and outside the property. Foods is excellent. The junior suite the rooms needs renew as well as the bathrooms. "
