"Taxi: about $40 from airport to hotel Train: first need to take regular rail (MRT) from the airport to the high speed rail (HSR) station then HSR to hotel; finding hotel is difficult; look for exit M6 Hotel is in a convenient location; older hotel but well kept; good service; 6 elevators; 2 of the 6 elevators will get you to the underground access to the MRT/HSR; laundry room, exercise room, restaurants in hotel and around MRT/HSR; walking distance to Mitsukoshi shopping mall, Daiso, McDonalds, Family Mart, 7-11, Uniqlo, Tim Ho Wan, Sushiro, and others."

"The hotel is conveniently located in a nice part of Taipei within walking distance to the SOGO luxury department stores. The hotel service is good and the newer style hotel rooms while small — offer understated elegance and offer basic but much appreciated amenities. The onsite public bath and hotel restaurant are nice features. The double twin beds offer more room than the single queen corner room. "

"Excellent hotel, exceptional service. Facilities are very clean. Location convenient. Staff was exceptional. Everyone was warm and helpful. Lots of attention to details that delighted our stay. My only minor complaint is there is not power outlet next to beds to charge cell phone, or plug in a computer. Overall, a great hotel with great service."

"The hotel is great, at the best location of Taipei, super convenient to subway and bus stations, a lot of restaurants and vibrant night life. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is also nice. Hotel offers currency exchange, however only accept $50 or $100 bills. We had $20 bills so they couldn’t provide the service, That would be my only suggestion. We would definitely stay at Solaria Hotel again. "
